Short version. We collect only what we need to run our website and provide our services. We do not sell your data. Your BillKaro shop data lives on your own device first; cloud sync is opt-in and encrypted in transit.

- Contact form & email — name, email, phone, and the contents of your message when you write to us at info@bytelynctechnologies.com or via the contact form.
- Customer account data — when you purchase BillKaro: business name, contact details, and licence information needed to issue and support your licence.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Server logs — IP address, browser type, referrer, pages viewed, and timestamps. Used for security, debugging, and aggregate analytics.
- Cookies — strictly necessary only (e.g. session/state). We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
1.3 Information inside BillKaro
BillKaro stores your shop data (sales, inventory, customers, khata ledger) locally on your computer. If you enable cloud sync, this data is transmitted to our secure servers over TLS and stored in an encrypted database tied to your shop's account.
2. How we use information
- To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.
- To deliver, maintain, license, and improve our products.
- To process transactions and issue invoices.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud or technical issues.
- To comply with legal obligations in Pakistan and other jurisdictions where we operate.
3. Sharing of information
We do not sell or rent your data. We share information only:
- With service providers that help us run our infrastructure (hosting, email, payment processing), under contractual confidentiality.
- When required by law, court order, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of ByteLync, our customers, or others.
